Laya Loves

Laya was struggling with low self-esteem when she saw an advert for workshops to help people build confidence. She had always loved making her own beauty products and she saw a way that she could bring together these two areas into a project to help herself and others.

So she set up Laya Loves Inc – a cosmetics company which offers to help people get employed, runs confidence-building sessions, and teaches people how to make their own cosmetics.

She also blogs with tips about beauty products over at layalovesinc.tumblr.com and makes beauty guru vlogs offering advice and talking about subjects to do with self-esteem and confidence.

Laya Loves aims to challenge the traditional images of beauty we see in the media and instead empower people. As well as this, Laya hopes that she will encourage more people to think about projects or businesses of their own they could set up through their experience in making cosmetics in a safe environment.

As the project grows Laya hopes to hold workshops in more places and to sell the cosmetics she creates to support the project further.
