Read MoreWe were at Breakin’ Out Festival a few weeks back. Breakin’ Out Festival was an event in Abergavenny which brought together musicians, artists, sports activities, and workshops. The headline acts were Chipmunk and Skepta. And it’s run by an UnLtd Award Winner!
We went along to the festival to talk to young people about challenges in their area. And then we asked them if they had any ideas on how to fix them.
“There was a variety of young people with ideas,” says Mandi from the Live UnLtd team, “They talked about a lack of facilities and activities where they live.”
And this was an issue rasied by young people who came from different areas, “That’s something we hear from young people living in urban areas, and we were hearing it from young people from rural areas as well.”
At Live UnLtd we back people who want to start projects to make a change, so it was great to talk to enthusiastic people about how they could start a project of their own with our backing and support.
We had a great time at the festival talking to people about how they could make a change in their area, and there were lots of compliments on the purple wigs!
Have you got an idea to make a change in your area? We could help you make it a reality. Get started now!
