Award Winners to debate in Parliament

Posted by In Education, News, Politics, Work.

Four Live UnLtd Award Winners from across the country have been invited to participate at a debate on youth unemployment and youth enterprise being held at the House of Commons in London.

Enterprise Lab has asked Joel Davies, Jordan Muzio, Luke Rogers and Peter Olawaye (pictured above) to share their views on youth unemployment and youth enterprise at the event which will take place next Tuesday (24 July).

It which will feature a panel of experts including independent London mayoral candidate Siobhan Benita.

The debate is one in a series organised by Enterprise Lab and Bite The Ballot. Enterprise Lab was set up in November by Ketan Kakwana as a direct response to the emerging skills gap between education, employment and enterprise, while Bite The Ballot is a grassroots campaign created by young people to inspire others to speak up and be a part of the decisions that directly affect them.

We’ll be posting a follow-up on the debate soon, so check back for that.

You can read our case studies on Jordan Muzio and Peter Olawaye on the Live UnLtd projects page.
